Within Reds is an alternative folk-rock band from Michigan, where two very different landscapes shaped two very different voices. Diane Russell grew up on a farm in rural West Michigan in a household where music was always present, founding a lifelong relationship that has called her back at every turn. Michael Arthur came up outside Flint, fighting hard to answer a musical calling in a place that didn't make it easy. He studied jazz, spent fifteen years running a guitar academy, and built RKSTRS Music to produce himself and others.
